The 91看片网 Eagle鈥檚 Nest provides off-campus housing resources to help alleviate housing insecurity for the 91看片网 College community.

We understand that housing insecurity and its most extreme experience of houselessness are not isolated challenges. We want to acknowledge the direct and often compound impacts that housing insecurity has on students鈥� mental and physical health, academic achievement and progress, and overall sense of belonging. It can be overwhelming to focus on academics without having secured housing.

Offers affordable public housing and Section 8 vouchers for Oakland residents.

2. Eden Housing

Provides affordable rental housing and senior living options across the East Bay.

3. The Unity Council

Supports East Bay communities with affordable housing, financial counseling, and more.

4. Keep People Housed

A regional program that provides legal services to help prevent evictions.

5. NID Housing Counseling Agency

Offers foreclosure prevention, homebuyer education, and housing counseling.

6. Housing & Emergency Lodging Program (HELP)

Offers transitional housing, emergency shelter, and assistance to individuals in need.

7. Catholic Charities of the East Bay

Provides housing assistance, including homelessness prevention and rapid rehousing services.

Each student may pick up 1 pack of diapers and wipes per child, per week.

Eagle鈥檚 Nest Clothing Closet

The Eagle鈥檚 Nest Clothing Closet at 91看片网 College provides students with immediate access to clothing, shoes, and personal hygiene items. Located in the Student Center, 3rd floor (SC-301), it is a welcoming resource for students in need.

How To Donate

The Eagle鈥檚 Nest Clothing Closet relies on donations to keep our shelves stocked for students. Donations can be dropped off at the Eagle鈥檚 Nest during normal business hours. We are especially in need of the following items:

Hygiene Products: Soap, Toilet Paper, Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Floss, Lotion, Deodorant, Feminine Hygiene Products
Other Essentials: Diapers, Laundry Detergent, Paper Towels

Eligibility

How To Apply

Complete the Request Form: Fill out the Emergency Transportation Assistance Request Form available .

Review & Approval: Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and approved students will be notified promptly.

If you are selected to receive a Clipper card, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information 1-2 weeks after the application deadline.
Due to the high volume of applications, rejection notices will not be emailed.

CalFresh Program

The CalFresh Program, also known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), provides monthly benefits to help individuals purchase most foods at grocery stores, markets, and even some local farmer鈥檚 markets. This program supports the health and well-being of qualified households and individuals by helping them meet their nutritional needs.

How CalFresh Can Help

If you need financial assistance for groceries, the CalFresh program may be able to help. Benefits are provided on an EBT card, which works like a debit card and can be used at most grocery stores and participating farmer鈥檚 markets across Alameda County. Additionally, homeless, elderly, or disabled individuals may use their EBT cards to purchase prepared meals at certain restaurants.

Shower Access for Students

Under Assembly Bill 1995, any student enrolled at a California Community College who is experiencing a financial or housing crisis may use the college鈥檚 locker room shower facilities鈥攅ven if they are not enrolled in a physical education (PE) course or athletic program.
