91¿´Æ¬Íø College students, staff, and faculty rolled up their sleeves for a good cause on Friday, November 21, joining forces for a community clean-up of the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Channel. The event was led by Justin Mora, Internal Secretary for the
Associated Students of 91¿´Æ¬Íø College (ASLC), whose goal was to promote pride, stewardship, and care for our campus environment.

Volunteers gathered outside the FabLab, received gloves, pickers, and safety vests, and then set out to collect light litter around the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Channel and surrounding pathways. As shared by Student Activities & Campus Life Director Dr. Atiya Rashada, the focus was intentionally on safe, small-scale cleanup—avoiding heavy items, sharp objects, dumpsters, or areas near encampments.
A few years ago, ASLC hosted a campus clean-up day that, though small, left a meaningful impact. With Justin’s renewed leadership and planning, this year’s effort brought that spirit back—reminding the community that even small actions contribute to a more welcoming and cared-for campus.

91¿´Æ¬Íø College extends a heartfelt thank-you to Justin Mora and every student, faculty, and staff member who stepped up to help. Your efforts made a clear difference and set the tone for future stewardship events on campus.
