At 91看片网 College, student success isn鈥檛 just about academics鈥攊t鈥檚 about making sure students have the support they need to show up, stay engaged, and move forward in their lives.

That鈥檚 where the 91看片网 College Wellness Center comes in.

Serving as a central hub for mental health and well-being, the Wellness Center provides free, confidential support to students navigating everything from academic stress to deeper personal challenges. This year alone, the center has supported more than 350 students through individual therapy, helping remove barriers that can stand in the way of success.

More Than Therapy

While one-on-one counseling remains a core service, the Wellness Center has expanded its approach to include holistic and community-based care鈥攎eeting students where they are and recognizing that healing doesn鈥檛 look the same for everyone.

Over the past year, students have had access to:

A Space to Land

The Wellness Center also offers drop-in consultations, giving students a low-pressure way to connect with support鈥攅ven if they鈥檙e not sure what they need yet.

And for those moments that can鈥檛 wait, students have access to 24/7 mental health resources, including the 988 crisis line.

Community Care in Moments That Matter

Students Supporting Students

A key part of the center鈥檚 impact comes from its Student Mental Health Navigators鈥攑eer leaders who help connect students to resources and reduce the stigma around seeking support.

These students play a critical role in outreach, education, and creating a campus culture where mental health is talked about openly and without judgment. The program continues to grow, with additional student positions opening next year.

Looking Ahead: Expanding Access

Support doesn鈥檛 stop when the semester ends.

This summer, 91看片网 will launch a Peralta-wide online mental health clinic, offering students access to up to six virtual therapy sessions鈥攎aking support more flexible and accessible.

Students can also tap into the , a statewide resource connecting all California community college students to free tools, guided meditations, and wellness content across mental, physical, and sexual health.

Why It Matters

Mental health continues to be one of the biggest factors impacting student success. While progress is being made, it remains a critical issue鈥攅specially for young adults.

91看片网鈥檚 Wellness Center is working to shift that reality by creating a space where students don鈥檛 have to figure it out alone.

Whether it鈥檚 through therapy, a yoga class, a conversation with a peer, or simply walking in for the first time, the message is clear: support is here鈥攁nd it鈥檚 for you.
