91¿´Æ¬Íø College's Cosmetology Program provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in the beauty industry. The program covers a wide range of topics, including hair cutting and styling, skincare, makeup application, and nail care. Students gain hands-on experience in a salon-like environment, preparing them for the state board licensing exam and future employment in the field.

The Fall 2026 Cosmetology class is full, and the enrollment period has closed. We are no longer accepting students for the Fall 2026 class.
The next opportunity to begin the Cosmetology program will be Fall 2027.
Please note that the Cosmetology program accepts new students in the fall semester only.

Fall 2027 Enrollment
Enrollment generally begins in late March or April.
Enrollment is completed online and is first come, first served. Cosmetology classes fill quickly, often within the first two weeks of the enrollment period.
Students interested in Fall 2027 are strongly encouraged to attend an information session and prepare for enrollment in advance.

Cosmetology Licensing Exam Information
Instructional Materials: Milady Textbooks (Cengage).
After completing 1,000 clock hours, including all required practical operations and lecture hours, students are eligible to take the Cosmetology licensing exam.
The exam consists of 100 questions and is administered on a computer. Students can choose from various testing sites across California, with locations available at .

Candidates who successfully pass the written exam will receive their license immediately. Those who do not pass can reapply to take the exam again.

The Town Salon
The Town Salon at 91¿´Æ¬Íø College offers a range of services including haircuts, styles, treatments, chemical services, as well as nail and facial services.
Location: Building B-100
Summer Hours: Thursdays only: July 2nd, 9th, 16th from 9:30am - 12:00pm
Payment is cash and credit Card. Must be 16 years or older to receive services.
Children under 16 are not allowed in the classrooms, or clinic areas due to safety and liability concerns.
